18pt Spot UV bookmarks combine a smooth matte laminated surface with selective high-gloss UV accents for a premium, high-contrast finish. The matte background keeps the overall appearance refined, while Spot UV can be applied to selected logos, text, patterns or design elements to make them stand out.

Premium 18pt Card Stock
Printed on 95 Bright 16pt C2S stock, with an approximately 18pt finished thickness after double-sided lamination.
Matte Lamination & Spot UV
Matte lamination provides a smooth, low-glare surface, while Spot UV coating adds selective glossy highlights to specific areas of the artwork for added visual contrast.
Full-Colour Bookmark Printing
Full-colour CMYK printing is available on one side (4/0) or both sides (4/4).

Spot UV Artwork Instructions
Please submit two PDF files:
- Regular full-colour artwork
- Spot UV template indicating the areas that will receive Spot UV
On the Spot UV template, indicate UV areas using 100% K. Areas without Spot UV should remain white. For best results, the Spot UV template should be created as vector artwork.
If you require overall UV coating on one side, order Spot UV coating on two sides and indicate the entire coated page as 100% K on the template file.
If ordering a 4/4 job with Spot UV on only one side, page 1 of the artwork must be the Spot UV side.
Spot UV artwork cannot extend to the cutting edge. Leave at least 5mm of non-varnished area around all cutting edges to help prevent the varnish from peeling and to avoid production delays.
Spot UV Positioning
Spot UV positioning cannot be guaranteed with absolute precision. There may be a shift of approximately 1/16" in the position of the Spot UV on the finished printed product.
